Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging relies upon the fact that everything above -273C emits energy, albeit an energy that is invisible to the eye. However, by using thermal imaging equipment it is possible to see this energy. It is possible, for example, to see an area of wet insulation, as this will emit more heat than a dry area and it will show up as a hot area on a thermal image.
